Certificate Authentication

How to verify your certificate

Every Welfinz certificate is engineered with layered authentication features. Follow these four steps to confirm that the certificate in your possession is genuine and unmodified.

01

Locate the QR Code

Every Welfinz certificate carries a QR code in the lower-right corner for instant verification.

02

Scan with Mobile

Use your phone camera or a QR reader app to open the verification URL on Welfinz servers.

03

Match Batch Data

Confirm the batch ID, purity, and weight match exactly what is printed on your certificate.

04

Check the Watermark

Hold the certificate to light to inspect the embedded WELFINZ security watermark pattern.

Physical Authentication

Detecting tampered products

Beyond ledger verification, physical authentication remains critical. Inspect every bar and certificate for the following signs of tampering before accepting delivery or transacting.

Inspect

Bar Inspection

Genuine Welfinz bars carry a laser-engraved serial number. Check for uniform depth, clean edges, and absence of tool marks around the engraving.

Verify

Packaging Integrity

All bars are sealed in tamper-evident packaging. Any signs of resealing, adhesive residue, or foil tearing indicate the packaging has been opened.

Match

Certificate Matching

The certificate batch ID must match the bar serial number exactly. Mismatches, faded print, or altered fonts are red flags.
