Governing law at a glance
A short summary of the jurisdictions, laws, and dispute-resolution forums that govern Welfinz engagements.
Jurisdiction
Welfinz Refinery DMCC operates under Dubai Multi Commodities Centre free-zone licence. Physical operations are within the DMCC jurisdiction; physical deliveries from JLT, Dubai.
Governing Law
Engagements are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the rules of the DMCC free-zone authority, including UAE Federal Law No. 3 of 1987 (Penal Code) where applicable.
Dispute Resolution
Disputes are referred to arbitration under the DIFC-LCIA rules, seated in Dubai, in English. Institutional clients may opt for DIAC or ICC by mutual written agreement.
